Most of my go-to maternity session spots are in Raleigh and Cary. However downtown Durham holds a lot of special meaning for this expecting couple. Because of this, I was happy to drive up and photograph them in their element for this Durham Maternity Photo Session. I haven’t lived in the Triangle area for long, so I had actually never been to downtown Durham. Any time I have a photo session in a new place, I arrive early. That way, I can walk around and scope out the best spots. In this case, they ended up knowing of some neat tucked-away areas that I hadn’t seen. I can’t wait to explore this area more post-Covid!
