Before last October, I had no idea that the shrubs at Lake Crabtree explode into a beautiful sea of yellow flowers! What a pleasant surprise when this family arrived for their family photos at Lake Crabtree County Park in Cary. As a Raleigh Family Photographer who has only lived in this area since late 2019, I love finding treasures like this.
This family was so fun to photograph. Their son was so spunky and reminded me of my own son! And look at that gorgeous red hair! He just brightened up the session and had such a good time. You can tell he is a goofball. I try to keep it fun for kids during family photos, to get those genuine smiles! Enjoy these Raleigh Family Photographs 🙂
Another thing I loved about this Cary Family Photo Session is the outfits that the family chose to wear! These colors go together so well and are really complimented by the early October foliage and the beautiful cloudy sunset. Earthy tones like chambray, grey, blue, deep red, and orange are perfect for photos in October through early December.
