As a lifestyle newborn photographer Apex NC, I loved taking photos of this sweet family of three in their home in Cary. One of the things that is unique to in-home lifestyle photography is that it really reflects the style and personality of the parents. This mom and dad have a beautiful light-filled home with bright, neutral colors. Because of this, their photos are light and airy and intimate. Some people have home with deeper tones. This results in a more “moody” look with shadows.
At the beginning of a lifestyle newborn session by Laura Karoline Photography, lifestyle newborn photographer Apex, I always ask the parents to briefly show me around the home. The best spots for photos are usually the living room, master bedroom, nursery, and sometimes a guest room. Even if the light isn’t great in the nursery, I always get at least a few photos in there. I know that mom and dad put a lot of thought into what goes into the nursery and it is such a special memory!
