While complicated and time-consuming poses used to be all the rage, I find that now most people opt for one or two simple poses with some natural photos and swaddled pictures mixed in. I personally love this approach. When posing a newborn, it is so important to follow baby’s lead and read their cues. The poses that I typically do during a full posed newborn session are poses that most babies settle into quickly and comfortably. My main goal is to keep baby cozy and happy during the session!
