There’s something really special about in-home newborn sessions. Everyone is more relaxed, everything feels familiar, and it tells the story of this season of life in the most honest way.⁠

And one of my favorite parts? Getting to include your family dog!⁠

They’re such a big part of your everyday life, and bringing them into a few photos makes your gallery feel even more complete. No need to coordinate or go anywhere, they’re already right where they belong.⁠

These early days go by so quickly, and capturing all of it, exactly as it is, always ends up meaning so much later on.

I’ve been quiet on here lately. Balancing life and business doesn’t always go the way I plan, and sometimes posting on socials takes a back seat.⁠
⁠
But sessions like this always pull me right back in... the sleepy snuggles and two parents completely in awe of their baby. It’s a good reminder to slow down and pay attention to what actually matters.⁠

Even when I’m not showing up here as much, I’m still behind the scenes capturing these moments, and I don’t take that for granted.⁠
