I was so happy to celebrate Tobias’ first birthday with a Cary Smash Cake Session after watching him grow throughout his first year! I took his mom’s maternity photos, and his newborn and six-month photos. Nothing makes you feel better as a photographer than clients who come back to you for multiple sessions, and trust you with these memories that they will have forever!
Tobias’ mom and dad captured his first birthday with a cake smash session. We were able to pop outside for a handful of pictures, as well. My cake smash sessions include the cake, as well as optional family photos.
One thing I enjoy about taking photos of a baby over time is being able to tie their sessions together. I can pull similar colors and themes throughout all of the studio shoots. In this session, I used the same white setup as in his six-month shoot.
