I had such a great time doing these family photos at Oakview in Raleigh! Historic Oakview County Park is one of my favorite spots to take family photos, especially in the Spring. The light is beautiful there, and the area isn’t too big so you don’t have to walk around much.
This family wanted photos to document their daughter right around her second birthday! She was a little shy at first, but she warmed up quickly when she realized that mom and dad were just going to play games with her! She is just the cutest thing and I am obsessed with her pigtails. I hope my own daughter grows enough hair soon for pigtails… right now she just has peach fuzz because she is only 6 months old 😛
This session was actually one of my family mini sessions, which is just 30 minutes long and includes 10 digital images. They ended up upgrading their package after seeing the photos, because they wanted to keep more than 10! And I don’t blame them- their baby girl’s smile is just contagious here!
I know that these photos will always be special to this family, because they show their daughter’s personality at such a fun age. That is why I do what I do!!
