Sweet baby Blair was awake for her newborn session, which I love! Lately I have been photographing so many wakeful newborns in their homes, and it is so precious. I really feel that their little personalities show in their eyes.

I want to talk about the colors that this family chose to wear for their newborn session. I love the taupe color of mom’s dress, paired with baby’s white onesie and dad’s light shirt! It really kept the images from looking too dark. If you like a lighter look to your photos, I definitely recommend light neutral tones for your clothing during your lifestyle newborn session. For example: white, cream, light grey, light blue, oatmeal, taupe. These tones look beautiful!
